is an On Line Children's Newspaper
and it belongs to every Child in the World! It is potentially a
Powerful "Tool" designed to bring about Future Changes
Worldwide.
(ICGN's number one Agenda is to stop all wars and bloodshed! This
will not happen overnight, however, it will happen if the Children
of the World will communicate with the rest of the World and start
by showing their friendship, care and love towards all people)
The Children of the World will
write all of CGN's Articles.
Via ICGN, You young people are
now able to:
- Write about "Fun
Things". (Things that you do where you live)
- Write News Articles (About
anything that you wish to write about except Religion or
politics)
- Air your feelings with other
Children. (Using ICGN as a sounding Board)
- Read News written by other
Children from all over the World
- Read Articles that have been
read and reviewed by our Editors. In other words, you will be
able to read informative, educational, positive and
interesting Articles. (No sensationalism or any kind of trash
will be published by ICGN)
- Make friends with Children
Worldwide
- Possibly bring about World
peace? (By making friends and promoting only that is good)
- Write your Articles in any
language
- Submit your Articles using our
on line Form
- If you do not have easy access
to a Computer, you could send your Articles to ICGN via regular
AirMail
Many
years ago, someone stated "The Pen is mightier than the
sword". By this, I believe that he meant that problems,
could be solved much better if people were to talk about them,
instead of killing each other?
Now you young people have the opportunity to prove that the above
statement "The Pen is mightier than the sword"
was true then and that it is still so today. The only difference
is that instead of the "Pen" it would be more accurate
if people would now say that, "The Computer is mightier
than all of the weapons combined".
If you Children learn to communicate with one another (Using ICGN
as a Friendly tool) and become friends, show care, love and
understanding, this would be a major step towards future world
peace.
It is up to you to prove to the World that "The Computer
is mightier than all of the weapons combined".
Your written Articles, via Email, via our On Line Form or regular
Postal Mail, would not be touched by our Editors. However, to
insure that your Articles get published, you must write relatively
short articles, (Not lengthy Books). Do not be concerned about
your English especially if English is not your language. Do not be
concerned with your spelling either. ICGN is a Children's
Newspaper; we are not looking to judge how well you Children
write, we want you to communicate the best way you know how. (In
any language) It is "Your thoughts" that ICGN is seeking,
not your writing abilities.
Our Editors will not correct Articles containing offensive words,
(Bad Words) for such Articles would simply be trashed. See the
list of things (Ideas) that you may write about… We welcome any
other new ideas that you feel that we should add to this List.
Adults should log on to this Newspaper once in a while, for I
believe Adults may find such Children's Articles to be truthful,
interesting, informative, fresh, honest, innocent, clever,
heartwarming.
I do not know whom it was that first said, "If you want to
hear the truth about something, ask a Child". (I heard it
from my Mother many years ago, God bless her).
I believe that this saying, "Out of the Mouth of Babes"
has a similar positive meaning?
Because of the above sayings, that innocent Children always tell
the truth, Adults will be anxious to read what it is that you have
to say… (I do)
(If we succeed in convincing the Children of the World to write
what they feel and to send their written thoughts to us for
Publication, ICGN would become "the" Premier On Line
Newspaper!)
"Who could resist from reading the truth"?
You need not be
concerned about being of certain age to write for ICGN, however,
you do need to be able to write and able to express yourself
clearly.
The Real Concept
behind ICGN is not really about age but about having a pure heart,
and generally speaking who has such goodness? Children do…
Be sure to tell your friends and Teachers about ICGN…Also be sure
to mention that they do not have to have a Computer to send their
Articles to ICGN, they could send them via AirMail…
