Why do we declare War
To Kill people, nothing more
To Kill fellow man is an awful thing
But people were killed, and we are remembering
The people that died for us.
Killed by the Thousands, plus
Now many plants grow between the crosses
Poppies, flowers, emerald mosses
The war veterans on Remembrance Day
Sit making poppies to pass the time away
Thinking of War days gone by
Often brings a tear to their eye
Thinking of loved ones killed in Senseless War
For the Sake of Killing, nothing more
A Memorial Service we hold each year
To honor the veterans we hold dear
We march to War memorials where wreaths we lay
In observance of Remembrance Day
We
all know that Children represent all that is GOOD.
The questions is... will you be as good when you get
older?
If so, then the World would be in
GOOD Hands. |
